Product Advantage
Our Clevis Slip Hook features an innovative 2-in-1 design that combines a sturdy U-shaped release with a sliding hook with a spring-loaded latch. This design eliminates the need for additional connectors, allowing operators to quickly complete mounting and disassembly. In practical applications, it can reduce the assembly time of frequent connection operations by up to 50%, greatly improving work efficiency, especially suitable for fast-paced work environments such as logistics, construction, and manufacturing workshops.
The product is made of Grade 80 high-strength alloy steel and is manufactured through computer-controlled precision forging and heat treatment processes. This material endows the hook with extremely high toughness and impact resistance, achieving higher rated working load (WLL) in compact sizes. All products strictly adhere to the 4:1 safety factor standard, which means that a nominal 5-ton hook with a minimum breaking strength actually exceeds 20 tons, providing a solid and reliable safety guarantee for every lifting operation.
To resist wear, corrosion, and severe impact, each hook undergoes strict surface treatment. The thick electroplated zinc layer provides over 500 hours of neutral salt spray testing (ASTM B117 standard) protection, greatly extending its service life in harsh environments such as humidity, dust, or coastal areas. The one-piece forged structure has no welding weaknesses or stress concentration, ensuring excellent durability of the product, thereby reducing the total cost of ownership and equipment replacement frequency for customers.
The deep throat design of the Eye Lifting Hook and the wide interior space of the U-shaped shackle allow it to easily accommodate thicker ropes, chains, or large connectors. The standard spring driven safety lock door can automatically close, effectively preventing accidental detachment of the load during movement or shaking. The hook body is permanently molded or laser engraved with clear markings of the work load limit (WLL), product grade, and tracking number to ensure that the information will not wear out due to use, providing clear guidance for on-site safety inspections and compliance operations.
Our hook series products have passed ISO 9001 quality management system certification and meet or even exceed the requirements of international authoritative standards such as ASME B30.10 and EN 1677-1. We can also provide complete third-party testing reports and material certificates (MTC) to ensure product quality traceability and reliability, helping your equipment easily enter mainstream global markets such as North America and the European Union, and meet the strict procurement standards of various large-scale engineering projects and multinational enterprises.

Product Application
Heavy object lifting: In workshops such as mechanical processing and automobile production, Clevis Slip Hooks are used to connect chains or slings, which are used in conjunction with cranes and forklifts to lift molds, engine cylinder blocks, large machine tool components, etc. The sliding design of the hook body can flexibly adjust the angle of the rigging to avoid component tilting or collision.
Production line fixing: used to fix heavy fixtures on the assembly line, or temporarily connect load-bearing components of conveying equipment. The pin type structure ensures installation/disassembly efficiency and is suitable for frequent production changes.
Cargo binding and fixation: In truck and container transportation, steel, pipe, mechanical equipment and other goods are fixed in the carriage in conjunction with steel wire ropes and binding straps. The sliding hook can slide along the rigging to tighten the binding strap, while the sheep horn structure facilitates quick hooking of anchor points to prevent goods from shifting due to bumps during transportation.
Trailer towing: When transferring small trailers or construction machinery (such as loaders and rollers) for short distances, Clevis Slip Hook is used to connect the towing chain to the trailer hook. Its high-strength hook body can withstand the instantaneous pulling force during starting and braking, ensuring towing safety.
Material hoisting: When hoisting steel bars, steel pipes, prefabricated concrete slabs, etc. on construction sites, the lifting chain and lifting point are connected by Clevis Slip Hook. The hook body can automatically slide with the lifting angle to balance the load force, especially suitable for hoisting irregularly shaped materials.
Temporary support fixation: used to temporarily fix support rods or connect safety ropes during scaffold construction and steel structure installation, quickly achieving temporary anchoring between components and improving construction efficiency.
Agricultural machinery and material handling: used in agriculture to lift heavy objects such as harvester accessories and fertilizer buckets, and in forestry to handle logs with cranes. The sliding hook design can adapt to different diameters of wood or irregular agricultural machinery components, simplifying the hooking process.
Equipment fixation: During the transportation of agricultural machinery such as tractors and harvesters, Clevis Slip Hooks are used to secure the equipment and transport vehicles to resist field bumps or vibrations during road transportation.
Ship maintenance and loading/unloading: Used in ports or shipyards for lifting ship components (such as propellers, cabin doors) or fixing boarding ladders, its corrosion-resistant surface treatment (such as hot-dip galvanizing) can adapt to high humidity and salt spray environments, ensuring long-term stability.
Fishery operations: Used in small fishing boats to connect fishing nets, tow ropes, or secure catch storage boxes, to quickly hook and release ropes and improve operational efficiency.
